i heard these words almost every SOEP day.these are the inspiring words of our math instructor, sir romark.
when sir romark entered our room for the first time, some of the girls palpitated(lol) and some murmured, "gwapo".i didn't care.all i wanted was a math teacher who can heal my mathematical trauma from 2 years of mathematical hell.and sir was the manifestation of my dream.
he graduated from the (most) prestigious university of the philippines los baños with a degree in bs industrial engineering.he didn't make it to be a laude, but still, his skills are unquestionable.this clearly shows what kind of education up gives to its students.hp offered him a job but he trashed it.he chose the academe.he chose to serve the people.he is breeding the cream of the crop.he upgrades them to higher calibers, to the caliber which our country badly needs.
our last meeting came, our last topic was about determinants. it is an easy topic. after the discussion, sir romark surprised us with his little present for us, 5 boxes of choco mucho.lol
this is the kind of teacher i want and dream of. the one who nourishes our brain and at the same time feeds our empty tummy.lol
